What is Resident Involvement

Resident Involvement means taking part in the decisions, which affect you and your neighbours in your local community. This could take the form of meetings with other residents or with the staff of Soho Housing Association. By getting involved, you can have an influence on the services delivered to you and your neighbourhood.

How can I get involved?

There are many different levels of involvement, ranging from filling out a questionnaire to being elected to the Board, and making decisions on Soho Housing Association’s policy. How far you get involved is up to you!

Can I join a Residents Association?

Do you want your views to be heard? There may be an existing Residents Association you can join for your local area or block. If there is not and you would like to start one, the Association will support you and encourage you to form one.

Residents Associations can be useful to express residents’ opinions and help improve communication between the Association and residents.
