A message from the Chief Executive

Soho Housing Association has always been and will remain a community-based organisation and we place great importance on the involvement of tenants and other local residents and workers in running the Association. We are very much concerned with sustaining the local community and are widening our remit to help contribute to the quality of life for residents.

The Association continues to have a strong community base working in a multi-cultural area. A large number of existing tenants are of Italian and Chinese origin and we are continuing to develop links with the Bengali community. The Association is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of its work.

There is scope in our work to take advantages of new opportunities whilst at the same time providing continuity of vision with the Association's founders. Underlying all our work are three key commitments: putting customers first, enhancing our performance and delivering continuous improvement.

This means listening to our customers, adopting a “can-do” approach, and developing sophisticated and flexible systems that enable us to tailor our service to individual circumstances.

Our Statement of Purpose
