The Strategic Management Team comprises of the Chief Executive, Head of Operations and Head of Finance. The Chief Executive oversees our commercial properties with the day-to-day management carried out by an external agency.
 
The Operational Management Team comprises of the Customer Services, Housing Management, Reinvestment Coordinators and Senior Finance Officer.
 
The Customer Services Team is responsible for managing a front line service to customers including the reception and telephone service. The focus of the team is to develop successful methods of communication and feedback from our customers. The internal support is provided through office administration and the co-ordination of personnel and training services. The team consists of three Customer Services Officers, the Maintenance Surveyor and the Customer Services Co-ordinator.
 
The Customer Services Co-ordinator and Maintenance Surveyor are responsible for the management and control of the day-to-day maintenance service. All of our properties are maintained to the highest possible standard with a focus on health and safety demonstrated by a three star gas service contract, quality maintenance of our 28 lifts and intensive management by our caretakers. We encourage feedback from tenants through our annual resident satisfaction survey, postal surveys, forums and telephoning tenants to ask questions on the quality of recent repairs.
 
The Reinvestment Co-ordinator is responsible for the long term planned and cyclical maintenance of SHA’s properties in management, ensuring that reinvestment in property is a prime objective of SHA.
 
The Housing Officers are responsible for managing particular groups of streets and blocks. Housing Officers monitor rent accounts and deal with more specific or complicated problems related to tenancy issues. The are managed by our Housing Management Co-ordinator and have support from our Customer Service Officer for housing.
 
The Finance Team is responsible for the operation, management and control of the Association’s finances and IT services and comprises of a Head of Finance, Senior Finance Officer and a Finance Officer. The Team’s duties include day-to-day operations such as accounting for rent payments and processing payments, provision of financial information for internal and statutory purposes and management of SHA’s loan portfolio. Our housing management and finance software is provided by the Comino packages Aurora and ICE, and additionally use Office 2000 and Outlook.
 
The Development Manager is responsible for the development programme.
