Benefits Cap

A new benefits cap has been introduced.

A Benefits Cap means there will be a limit on the total amount of money from certain benefits you can get if you’re of working age. To begin with, the cap will only affect you if you're getting Housing Benefit and you may get less money towards your rent. If you're not getting Housing Benefit, your benefits won't be capped.

You can read more about this on the Citizens Advice Bureau site here
