Open Discussion about Covid-19 Vaccination
Westminster City council are holding an event called, "LET’S HAVE AN OPEN DISCUSSION ABOUT THE COVID-19 VACCINATION"
It's taking place on Wednesday 3 February at 6.30pm
Join Lord Simon Woolley CBE, founder of Operation Black Vote, Professor Kevin Fenton, regional director at Public Health England, Dr Sonya Abraham, NIHR Clinical Research Network North West London, Dr Sheila Neogi, Senior GP partner in Pimlico and Cllr Rachael Robathan for an open conversation about the COVID-19 vaccination.
With research showing that vaccine hesitancy is much greater in Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities, the event will provide a platform for an open discussion around the negative experiences and racial inequalities that are leading to vaccine hesitancy. The event aims to instil vaccine confidence through honest conversations and discussion.
The event will be live-streamed on our Facebook page, website and YouTube channel. It will offer an opportunity for residents and staff to ask questions and share any concerns they may have about the COVID-19 vaccination.
Questions can be submitted prior to the event on the Eventbrite registration form. There will also be an opportunity to pose questions to the panel during the event if you are watching on our Facebook page.
